Weekly Blog!! ~Summary~ h This was the third week of school and was very hectic to say the least. This Monday, August 19th was the first day of picture taking😬 so it was very crazy and i was working schedule pick up. The periods of the day were 1-3-5. My first period was College and Career Readiness, in that class we did binder check. In Leadership we did picture taking the whole time. For 5th period i had English. In that class i did a reading. Then came August 20th, Tuesday. The periods that day were 2-4-6. My first class was Social Studies. In that class we went over Nation history day and what the topic was for 2025. Next was math, in that class we did lesson 7.1 and lesson 7.2. The last class of the day was science, In that class we did Particulate Nature of Matter: PBS Virtual Lab.                               Bio Cube Blog ~Summary~       This summer we started working on a bio cube! The bio cube was stuff that could describe us, there's name, background, personality, significance, obstacles, and quote. We started our bio cube project in summer bridge. We wrote into boxes of the 5 categories, then each day we shared one of the boxes until we shared all the boxes. I left to go on a trip for a little bit but when i got back we started on our creating our bio cubes. After designing our bio cubes on Canva, I asked Ms. Shayna to print out my bio cube pages. when i got my stuff, i was given a box by Mr. Ing.  This week was the second week of school and has been a great and energetic week. This week i was doing broadcast with all of period 3, it was confusing and i feel so for bad for my poor computer🥲👍(The one i'm using right now) On Monday i had designed the intro and observed Valerie doing the slides.  I was in A102 until we had to go to our first period of the day that happened to be period 3, so i just stayed in A101, which i was very happy about. During that lesson we went over public speaking and the 5 steps for public speaking, then we had some free time, so i finished my i-ready diagnostics. (They took forever to do bro🥲) the next period was 5th period, which was english, during that class we did a writing assessment on generations. the last period of the day was my first period, in that class all i did was finish some slides for my classwork then read. This was my first week as a 7th grader. It was definitely nerve wracking and over all a great and memorable experience. August 6th, The week started off with me learning my classes, my heart dropped when i, first came because I was not ready for how many kids would be becoming new 7th graders. 7th graders excited to see their friends and either ready or not ready for 7th grade. I went to my new classes anxious and excited, after learning that I had Anela and some of my other friends in some of my classes, my nerves cooled down. The next day, August 7th, was diagnostic testing and going all my periods, i had cafe monitor so i left the diagnostic testing early. The diagnostic had me confused so much that my head hurt comprehending some of the questions. During cafe monitors i did trash, i swept the floors and me and the leadership 7th graders came with me to throw the garbage bags into the dumpsters. This summer was one that I will never forget. I still remember being scared on my first day and a lot of 8th graders saying hello to me because they recognized me from my 5th grade year. I had just come from a church event meaning I missed the first few days. I also remember Olivia coming to help me with the Hawaiian core values notes in summer bridge and Ms. Shayna telling me how to design my summer bridge notebook. we did a lot of fun activities, but at first I was not ready for workday's, but after my first day at workdays where I remember doing work and cleaning the whole time, Then I left for a trip and when I came back and we were doing activities and games, then we all had lunch for the meet and greet. June 18th came and it was time for schedule pick up, it was the first day of schedule pickup, that day was for 7th graders. The first day was busy and tiring. I was starting to lose my energy by the end of the day. The very next day was June 19th, this day was for 8th graders....
